Your All-in-One Survival pack (World Sailing approved)

OPST Sea Survival, Offshore Safety and RYA First Aid in one go.

In an emergency at sea, knowing what to do and immediate action saves lives. To prepare skippers and crews to rough weather and problems at sea, we have combined all the knowledge of First aid on board, Sea Survival and Offshore Safety in one.

The first day you will learn working knowledge of first aid on board, tools and toolkits and to support skippers. The training covers first aid subjects, but from a boating perspective.

The second and third day consists of a one day Sea Survival module and a one day Offshore Safety module. At the end you will have a good knowledge of the safety equipment carried on small boats and the seamanship techniques needed to survive at sea in heavy weather.

The certificates awarded conforms with the eligibility requirements of section 6.01/6.02/6.05 of the World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations (OSR) for category 0, 1, 2 offshore races, and category 3. Full details of the Special Regulations can be found in the World Sailing website.

We strongly recommend all sailors to obtain their training when joining our Race or Ocean experience. The training is mandatory for those enduring the Rolex Fastnet and Rolex Middle Sea Race (OSRcat2 races).
